This advert is for the perfume avril laveigne black star. She is looking directly at us, to make us think we could be like her, if we buy the perfume. The catchphrase at the bottom, says –be your own star. Avril gives off a rock styled image. She is dressed in pink and black, including dark accessories. The perfume is also the same colours, with studs on it. The camera angle is facing her. She is giving off a direct address, because she is looking directly at us . In the picture, the perfume and the box is featured. I think avril asked for the box to be put in the picture as well, because it creates an effect, because of the way she is presented. I think she is the main feature of the advert, because her picture is really big and the image of the perfume is smaller. the areas of mallows’ hierarchy that the image relates to , is esteem because she looks confident and she has respect for others , by dressing appropriately . The background has been made on the computer. I think the advert involves creativity, because the background has stars, and it features two colours – also black and pink, which gives of a better effect.
