500 words
The adverts I chose are all very similar .The first advert is Taylor Momsen. She is stereotyped as the fashionista. She is advertising clothing for Madonna’s label, at macis. She is sitting down, with her legs up. Her whole outfit matches, which creates the fashionista effect. The Beyonce advert is representing the beauty bunny stereotype. She is advertising her perfume heat. The way she is posing, is representing beauty. Her clothes show off her figure and shape. She is looking directly at the camera. The Nina Richey advert is also representing the beauty bunny stereotype. She is also posing in the picture. The sketchers advert, is advertising the perfect mum. The actress / singer is posing for sketchers, with her daughter. She is famous, so she would be expected to pose by herself. But she has chosen to allow her daughter to pose with her . The be delicious advert is representing the beauty bunny. The model in the shot , is advertising dkny perfume . In the shot, she has bitten the apple, and her hand is on her mouth . The quote on the image , says take a bite out of life . Britney spears advert is representing the beauty bunny. This is, because she looks really beautiful in the shot , and the way  she is dressed , is also representing beauty . The photographer has decided to put flowers all around her, and her perfume bottle , at the bottom of the shot . kate moss is advertising  a beauty product , so she is under the beauty bunny stereotype . hwer face is the main feature of the shot . all the adverts , seem to be the same . They are either representing the beauty bunny stereotype or the fashionosta stereotype . They all relate to the same  topics . the pictures of beyonce , Britney , kate moss , and be delicious are all under the same category . the rest are all beauty bunny representations , except the perfect mum one .there all representing different  things , but mainly beauty products .  I think the adverts are stereotyped , because because of the people advertising them . someadverts use celebrities , because they become more known . there adverts will be watched more . if an unknown person or model was advertising the products in the adverts, then no one would buy it . but if someone like taylor momsen or Cheryl cole was advertising ther products , then more people will be interested , and would definitely buy it . they boost their sales , by featuring celebrities .

The first advert is of the woman who looks as if she is working. She is the alpha female stereotype.  She looks serious and focused. The model looks smart and sophisticated.

The L’Oreal advert is the beauty bunny stereotype. The woman looks really confident and proud to be advertising beauty.

The Dior advert is the fashionista stereotype. She is showing off her clothes in two pictures. She is posing in the the picture.
The parleys rusks (biscuits) advert is the perfect mum, because it shows a mother and a child. This is a food product . It is showing, that if you give the child the product being advertised, then they will grow big and strong.
The last advert of the old woman is stereotyped as the granny . she is advertising a plan for people who are old and over 50 .

advert analysis

This advert is for the perfume avril laveigne black star. She is looking directly at us, to make us think we could be like her, if we buy the perfume. The catchphrase at the bottom, says –be your own star. Avril gives off a rock styled image. She is dressed in pink and black, including dark accessories. The perfume is also the same colours, with studs on it. The camera angle is facing her. She is giving off a direct address, because she is looking directly at us . In the picture, the perfume and the box is featured. I think avril asked for the box to be put in the picture as well, because it creates an effect, because of the way she is presented. I think she is the main feature of the advert, because her picture is really big and the image of the perfume is smaller. the areas of mallows’ hierarchy that the image relates to , is esteem because she looks confident and she has respect for others , by dressing appropriately . The background has been made on the computer. I think the advert involves creativity, because the background has stars, and it features two colours – also black and pink, which gives of a better effect. The lighting looks artificial and                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        fake. The picture of avril has been taken separately and the perfume picture and they have been placed on a dark background. The photo of Avril has been retouched. Her skin looks perfect and she looks really thin. In other photos of her, she looks completely different.
